This product is not developed entirely from scratch; rather, it splits off the “work tasks” mode that was introduced on the Doubao app in June this year, forming a new office entry point. In terms of product form, this is far more than just adding an office feature to Doubao. The deeper change is that Doubao is beginning to transform from an AI chat tool into an AI work platform capable of invoking tools, executing tasks, and connecting with enterprise systems.
