【#Tech24H】Recently, the world's first prefabricated computing power center base was officially put into operation in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The computing power center base serves as the energy hub and power fortress of a computing power center, providing continuous and stable electricity. This container-like "big guy" measures approximately 53 meters long, 41 meters wide, and covers about 2,200 square meters. Compared with traditional computing power center bases, it reduces floor space by over 30%, lowers overall costs by 20%, can be completed in as little as five months, and saves nearly 80% on civil construction costs. Moreover, the equipment supports direct green power connection, achieving 100% green power consumption, reducing token electricity costs by about 30%. By coordinating with energy storage devices, it also creates a dedicated computing-power intelligent synergy system, enabling power and computing to work in tandem with precision — potentially driving down computing power prices.
