【#Tech24H】At 19:39 on June 4, China launched the 11th group of Qianfan polar-orbit satellites atop a Long March 6A carrier rocket from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center. The satellites have entered their preset orbits smoothly, marking a complete success of the launch mission. Developed by the Eighth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), the Long March 6A is a new-generation medium-sized solid-liquid bundled carrier rocket with a minimum payload capacity of 4.5 tons for the sun-synchronous orbit at an altitude of 700 kilometers. This launch counts as the 648th flight mission of the Long March carrier rocket family. [ By Zhang Liyan | Tang Ruohan ]
