【#Tech24H】Recently, six super high-yield somatic cell cloned dairy goats were successfully born at the test base of the Fuping Dairy Goat Industry Research Institute in Weinan, Shaanxi Province. This breakthrough was jointly accomplished by Northwest A&F University and other institutions. Using a cutting-edge molecular breeding technology system combining “whole-genome selection + somatic cell cloning”, the team successfully achieved batch cloning using top-performing Saanen dairy goats with an average daily milk yield of over 8 kilograms as donors.
