【#Tech24H】Rough estimates based on data from China’s National Bureau of Statistics suggest that the monthly labor cost of a software engineer is around RMB 20,000 to 30,000. If one considers only the time they actually spend performing tasks during an eight-hour workday, that breaks down to roughly RMB 110 to 170 per hour. Anthropic has launched a new feature called Claude Managed Agents, which not only charges for token usage but also begins billing for how long an agent runs. The pricing is $0.08 per hour, less than RMB 0.6. Managed Agents provide a complete ready-made infrastructure, what Anthropic calls an “agent harness”: including tool use, memory systems, permission controls, cloud-based long-running operation, inter-agent monitoring, and a sandbox environment.
