【#Tech24H】Fuzhou University has achieved a major breakthrough in ultra-high-definition integrated display technology, successfully developing an ultra-high-resolution quantum dot display technology for augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR). This innovation enables the "precise printing" of luminescent materials at an extremely small scale, constructing high-precision red, green, and blue pixel arrays with nearly defect-free patterns. By optimizing material distribution, the emission becomes more uniform and stable, and the structural design effectively prevents crosstalk between different colors, significantly enhancing display quality. Supported by multiple technological innovations, the team has fabricated red-emitting devices with an efficiency of 26.1% and a lifetime exceeding 60,000 hours, while the performance of green and blue devices has also been markedly improved.
