【#Tech24H】At 19:00 on March 30, the Lijian-2 Y1 carrier rocket was launched from the Dongfeng commercial space innovation pilot zone, accurately sending the New March 01 technology demonstration satellite, New March 02 technology demonstration satellite, and the TS 01 educational satellite into their preset orbits. The launch mission was a complete success. Among them, the New March 02 satellite, also known as the Qingzhou prototype test spacecraft, has a three-year on-orbit operational capability, weighs 4.2 tons, and adopts a single-cabin integrated configuration design. The New March 01 satellite, functioning as a “mini space laboratory”, will conduct a series of on-orbit tests and application demonstrations using multiple commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) experiment devices. This launch marked the maiden flight of the Lijian-2 carrier rocket.
