【#Tech24H】On January 25, the 2026 AI Industry Development Summit kicked off in Wuhan Donghu New Technology Development Zone, focusing on discussions around artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, cloud computing, LiDAR, and other related topics. In the era of AI, computing power is akin to electricity in the industrial age, which underpins productivity. Currently, global tech giants are accelerating the development of more powerful chips and establishing larger-scale supercomputing centers to compete for dominance in the global AI industry. The development zone has now built high-performance computing power exceeding 5,000 petaflops, equivalent to the parallel computing capacity of 2.5 million high-performance computers. It has established a hardware support system that coordinates “computing power + storage power + transmission power”, nurturing over 800 enterprises and forming a comprehensive industrial chain covering foundational, technological, and application layers.
