【#Tech24H】On November 24, Hesai Technology held its 2025 Technology Open Day at Hesai’s Maxwell Intelligent Manufacturing Center. During the event, Hesai unveiled the Fermi C500, a dedicated high-performance intelligent main control chip for LiDAR based on the RISC-V architecture. It is the world’s first dedicated LiDAR main control chip to achieve single-chip integration of MCU, FPGA, and ADC, and the first to receive dual certification for both functional safety and cybersecurity. It is also the world’s first dedicated LiDAR main control chip with a built-in Intelligent Point-cloud Engine (IPE), integrating a 256-core waveform processing unit and intelligent environmental noise filtering for complex weather conditions, providing all-weather high-precision perception for autonomous driving.
