World's First Deployable 10-Billion-Parameter Genome Foundation Model Unveiled

【#Tech24H】On October 23, the BGI Reasearch and Zhejiang Lab jointly released Genos, the world’s first deployable 10-billion-parameter universal foundation model for genomics. The model supports ultra-long context analysis of up to a million base pairs and achieves precise single-base resolution recognition. It is both powerful and user-friendly, with comprehensive evaluations showing that Genos surpasses the current best-performing models. The model has been fully open-sourced on platforms like Hugging Face and ModelScope, offering two versions with 1.2 billion and 10 billion parameters to meet diverse needs.
