【Tech 24H】On October 10, the Anhui Quantum Information Engineering Technology Research Center announced the successful development and mass production of the world's first four-channel ultra-low-noise single-photon detector. The device has set new world records in multiple key performance indicators such as detection efficiency, dark noise level, and integration density, marking China’s leading position in single-photon detection technology. It can provide autonomous, controllable, and performance-leading core components for applications including quantum communication, single-photon LiDAR, biological fluorescence imaging, deep-space laser ranging, and single-photon imaging.
