【Tech 24H】Tsinghua University has developed a novel fluorinated polyether electrolyte that significantly enhances the high-voltage resistance and interfacial stability of lithium batteries. Using this electrolyte, an 8.96Ah polymer pouch full cell achieved a leap in energy density to 604Wh/kg under 1MPa external pressure, far surpassing current commercial batteries. Additionally, the fully charged battery passed nail penetration and 120°C hotbox (static for 6 hours) safety tests without combustion or explosion, demonstrating excellent safety performance. This research is expected to provide critical technical insights for the development of mature solid-state battery products.
