【Tech 24H】A research team from the University of Michigan recently developed a novel navigation system inspired by bat echolocation, offering a new solution for drones operating in dark or low-visibility environments. This bionic ultrasonic system eliminates reliance on visual data, using neither cameras, LiDAR, nor GPS. Instead, it combines ultrasonic technology with AI algorithms to perceive surroundings through echolocation.
