【Tech 24H】On September 8, the first commercial unit of China’s most powerful domestically developed heavy-duty gas turbine, the "AGT 110", was shipped from the Aero Engine Manufacturing and Testing Base, ready for delivery. This milestone remarks the official entry of China’s independently developed 110-megawatt heavy-duty gas turbine into the commercial application phase. Heavy-duty gas turbines are core equipment for efficient energy conversion, clean utilization, and multi-sector applications, serving as a key indicator of industrial strength. Only a handful of countries worldwide possess the ability to independently develop such technology.
