At 12:34 am (Beijing Time) on September 7, the Long March 6 carrier rocket ignited and lifted off from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center, sending the satellites of the Yaogan-40 03 group into space. The satellites subsequently entered their planned orbit, marking the complete success of the mission. The two-and-a-half-stage rocket uses liquid oxygen and kerosene propellant in its core first and second stages, supporting various launch configurations including single, dual, triple, stacked, and side-mounted satellites. Its payload capacity for a 500 km Sun-synchronous orbit is no less than 6.5 tons. The rocket model has now entered a phase of high-frequency launches, with this mission following the previous one by just 20 days.
