【Tech 24H】A breakthrough in planetary science was achieved by researchers from the University of Science and Technology of China in collaboration with international scientists. By conducting an in-depth analysis of marsquake data recorded by NASA's InSight lander, the team for the first time discovered a solid inner core, with a radius of about 600 km, inside Mars. The study further revealed that this core is likely composed of crystalline iron-nickel alloy enriched with light elements.
