【Tech 24H】The National Center for Nanoscience and Technology under the Chinese Academy of Sciences has made significant progress in the large-scale preparation of MOFs electrodes and their application in electrolytic water systems. Using room-temperature electrodeposition, they achieved rapid synthesis of 400 cm2 large-size MOFs electrodes within minutes. These electrodes demonstrated low energy consumption of 4.11 kWh Nm-3 H2 and stable operation for up to 5,000 hours in alkaline electrolytic water systems.
