At precisely 20:00, the closing ceremony commenced with addresses by Shi Xiaolin, President of the Organizing Committee, followed by José Perurena, President of the International World Games Association (IWGA). Both expressed gratitude to all contributors to the Games’ resounding success. Dr. Frank Mentrup, Mayor of Karlsruhe, Germany (host of the next edition), delivered a speech warmly inviting global guests to reunite in Karlsruhe four years later. At 20:50, Perurena officially declared the 12th World Games Chengdu 2025 closed.
