Long March-8A Rocket Successfully Launches Internet Satellite Constellation
At 15:49 (Beijing Time) on July 30, China successfully launched the sixth batch of low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellites for its satellite internet constellation from the Hainan Commercial Space Launch Site using the Long March-8A carrier rocket. All satellites were accurately deployed into their planned orbits, marking another complete mission success. This launch demonstrated multiple technological breakthroughs including full-process automated operations, active drift control during liftoff and subcooled liquid oxygen fueling technology. The mission represents the 586th flight of China’s Long March rocket series.
