On July 28, Zhipu AI unveiled its new-generation flagship model, GLM-4.5, which was simultaneously open-sourced on the Hugging Face and ModelScope platforms. GLM-4.5 marks the first time a single model has natively integrated reasoning, coding, and agent capabilities to meet the complex demands of agent applications. The new-generation GLM-4.5 achieves higher parameter efficiency, with its parameter count being half that of DeepSeek-R1 and one-third that of Kimi-K2, yet delivers superior performance on multiple standard benchmarks.
