On July 22, Weiheng Technology launched the "Aoqin" ducted-fan high-altitude tethered firefighting drone system in Zigong, Sichuan. Comprising an octocopter tethered platform and a firefighting vehicle chassis, it deploys immediately upon reaching fire scenes. The platform operates at 100m altitude (upgradeable to 150–200m), ejecting 20–30L/s of fire suppressant with a range exceeding 45 meters.
