Recently, the world's first 80,000-ton open-sea aquaculture vessel, the Senhai Pioneer, was officially delivered. With an overall length of 224.9 meters, a beam of 32.2 meters, and a depth of 18.5 meters, the vessel features 7 aquaculture tanks providing nearly 80,000 cubic meters of aquaculture water volume. Structurally capable of withstanding winds up to Beaufort scale 17 and designed for a service life of no less than 20 years, it is the world's first open-sea aquaculture vessel to receive full classification certification from the China Classification Society (CCS). It boasts mature and reliable equipment technology, low cost, high efficiency, strong adaptability to deep-sea environments, and multiple expandable functions.
