Wuhan University has inaugurated its School of Integrated Circuits, with academician Liu Sheng of the Chinese Academy of Sciences as its founding dean. The school integrates resources across design, manufacturing, and packaging/testing to cultivate talent for the full industry chain. Liu emphasized its role in addressing national strategic needs and tackling "chokepoint" technologies.
