William Li, CEO of NIO, stated in a Weibo post: "Thanks to advanced self-developed industrial AI algorithms, NIO's  second factory in the Xinqiao Smart Electric Vehicle Industrial Park has achieved AI-driven decision-making in 80% of manufacturing scenarios." It is reported that NIO employs over 10,000 engineers, with cumulative R&D expenditures nearing 60 billion yuan and nearly 10,000 patents filed globally.
