July 3, 2025 – Beijing launched its "Challenge and Competition" (揭榜挂帅) initiative for AI application scenarios, selecting 12 key areas spanning manufacturing, education, healthcare, finance, environment, energy, cultural tourism, smart water management, public safety, construction, and smart city development. The total budget for this initiative reaches 110 million yuan.
