China Achieves Breakthrough in Next-Generation Semiconductor Photovoltaics R&D
[ By Zhang Liyan ]
Researchers at the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry (CIAC), Chinese Academy of Sciences, have developed a novel radical self-assembled molecular material that resolves two critical challenges in perovskite solar cells: inadequate hole transport layer performance and difficulties in large-area uniform fabrication. The technology has received efficiency certification from the U.S. National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), with findings published in the latest issue of Science.
