Beijing, June 25 (Youth.cn) - On June 24, 2025, Shanghai hosted the press conference for the 22nd ChinaJoy (China International Digital Interactive Entertainment Exhibition) at Pudong Kerry Hotel. Announcing the summer "Gathering - What You Love" otaku festival from August 1 - 4 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the event will span animation, gaming, AI robotics, smart homes, mobility tech, online film/music, web literature, esports, collectible toys, IP licensing, digital tech, and software/hardware. Exhibitors include NetEase, Tencent, Century Huatong, Perfect World, Xishanju, Kingsoft, Giant Network, TCL CSOT, Sony PS, and more. Side events include COSPLAY contests, Hanfu Showcase, dance festivals, CDEC summit, CGDC conference, global esports forum, and trade meetings. A key innovation this year is the collaboration with CCG EXPO (China International Animation & Game Expo) and Bilibili World to create the "Shanghai International Animation Month" (July 4 - August 10), introducing combo tickets to fuel fan excitement.
