Beijing, April 30 (Youth.cn) - Tourists were picking ripe cherries in an orchard in Yichang City, Hubei Province on April 28th. Based on fruit industry, the nearby village promotes rural tourism, develops homestay business and gets income through planting and selling cherries. Once poor, the village now has practised rural revitalization and becomes an example of getting out of poverty. With 10% increase of cherry output, tourists can get cherries until the May Day vocation, which is also a season for loquats and mulberries.
