Beijing, April 25 (Youth.cn) - On April 24, 2025, the Zhanbi Pavilion at Hangzhou’s West Lake was shrouded in an ethereal mist, transforming the iconic landmark into a scene straight out of a celestial painting. This mesmerizing "advection fog" phenomenon, enhanced by a newly installed MistForest system, drew crowds of visitors who paused to capture the surreal spectacle.
The upgraded attraction now features a cutting-edge fog-generating system, activated daily at noon and dusk. Utilizing high-pressure microporous technology, it releases delicate water vapor that dances across the lake’s shimmering surface and surrounding hills, crafting a dreamlike atmosphere.
According to park officials, the MistForest system serves dual purposes: beyond its visual poetry, it acts as an eco-friendly climate regulator - cooling the air, boosting humidity, and filtering pollutants - to elevate visitor comfort. Photo/CFP
