
Beijing, April 24 (Youth.cn) - The 2025 Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition (Shanghai Auto Show) officially opened on April 23, marking its 40th anniversary. Spanning 10 days, the event showcases cutting-edge innovations in low-carbon and intelligent technologies, solidifying its reputation as the "world's largest auto show" by international media.
This year's exhibition covers a record-breaking area of over 360,000 square meters, hosting nearly 1,000 enterprises from 26 countries and regions. The scale reflects China's pivotal role in the global automotive market and Shanghai's magnetic appeal as an innovation hub.
As a hallmark of the Shanghai Auto Show, new vehicle debuts remain the centerpiece. During the media days (April 23-24), more than 100 new models will make their global premieres, accompanied by over 150 press conferences. Notably, brands such as Xiaomi Auto, Huawei's Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance , BYD's Fang Cheng Bao, NIO's ONVO Ledo, and Firefly will debut at the show for the first time.
Since its inception in 1985, the Shanghai Auto Show has evolved into the world's premier platform for automotive launches and technological showcases.
