Beijing, April 22 (Youth.cn) - Coinciding with the 30th World Book Day, the 2025 Beijing Book Fair, organized by the Beijing Municipal Party Committee Publicity Department and hosted by the Beijing Distribution Group, will run from April 22 to May 5, 2025, under the theme "A Literary Capital, Reveling in the Joy of Spring Reading." Spanning 14 days - the longest duration in its 25-year history - the fair will extend through the May Day holiday, offering citizens a fresh cultural retreat during their vacation.

Centered at the Chaoyang Park Main Venue, the fair will expand for the first time to the Beijing Sub-Center, while simultaneously hosting book markets in Shijingshan District and Fengtai District, marking a milestone in both temporal and spatial dimensions.

At the Chaoyang Park venue, highlights include themed publication exhibitions, premium book sales zones, children's reading areas, discounted book sections, and physical bookstore blocks. Nearly 200 renowned publishers from 19 provinces and cities across China will showcase over 500,000 new and recommended titles, creating an immersive literary feast.

A newly added Anime & E-sports Zone will debut, featuring gaming and anime-themed products, limited-edition merchandise, and IP-inspired cultural creations, catering to the growing interests of animation enthusiasts. Photo/CFP
