Beijing, January 17 (Youth.cn) - On January 16, 2025, the local market day, in the Yashui Town of Huishui County, Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, villagers are shopping for Buyi embroidery sheets.

Yashui has a large Buyi community. As the Spring Festival is coming, local shops have stocked Buyi clothing, cloths, accessories, embroideries, and Formosan sweet-gum dyed cloths for their Buyi costumers. During the Spring Festival, the Buyi people always wear traditional Buyi clothing to visit their family and friends, sending their blessings. The traditional Buyi clothing is enlisted in the 4th batch of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List of China in November of 2014. Photo/VCG
