Beijing, January 9 (Youth.cn) - A cruise ship named "Silver Dawn", carrying over 400 international passengers, arrived at Shanghai Port International Passenger Transport Center Pier on January 8th. The cruise will stay at the pier for 2 days, during which passengers from US, Australia, UK, Germany and other countries will visit the Bund, the Oriental Pearl, Shanghai Museum, National Convention and Exhibition Center and other tourism spots in Shanghai to feel the modernity and classical cultural connotations of the city. The cruise will continue its journey after leaving Shanghai Port. Since May 15th 2024, National Immigration Administration has fully implemented visa-free entry policy for foreign tourist groups on cruises. The cruise ports adapted to the policy has increased to 13. Since December 2024, the 240-hour transit visa-free policy has implemented. 21 additional ports have been designated for visa-free entry and exit, and the areas in which transit travelers can stay have been expanded.
