Digital technology has impressed Li Chenyang the most since he first arrived in China. He was shocked when he tried to pay for the goods in cash and was told that he could pay via scanning QR codes.

Li Chenyang became an online retail live-streamer in 2019. In his stream, he sells Chinese produce, as well as goods from his hometown. “An ordinary Chinese farmer can sell his produce to the world through the Internet. It is a new, fascinating way of retailing.” he said, “The development of the digital technology constantly reminds me that I need to know more about it, for the better communication between the youth of China and Uzbekistan.”
