Beijing, December 18 (Youth.cn) - These photos capture the beauty of the breathtaking Salt Lake of Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province on the day of December 17, 2024. 

Although the cold air of winter continually hits Yuncheng, the color of the Yuncheng Salt Lake does not fade away. The salt lake is like a palette on the ground, if one is looking down from the air. 

During recent years, Yuncheng has been keeping to cease industrial salt production of the Yuncheng Salt Lake, turning the salt lake area from a mining and instrual zone, into a natural reserve, in order to restore the natural environment of the area.
