Beijing, November 18 (Youth.cn) - It is the best time to admire golden ginkgo leaves in front of the Temple of the Reclining Buddha in Rizhao City, Shandong Province. The millennial tree is lush. Golden leaves contrast finely with the antique yard of the temple. Many tourists went there to admire the landscape. Ginkgo trees grow slow but survive for long. They are also known as “living fossil” of plants. The oldest ginkgo tree in the Temple of the Reclining Buddha is 1300 years old but still lush and straight. It is 30 meters’ high and can not be encircled even by 10 arms. Photo/VCG
