Beijing, November 6 (Youth.cn) - Photo taken in a handmade dry noodle mill in Zhongjiang County, Deyang City, Sichuan Province on November 5th. The handmade dry noodles hung like veils and thin like hairs. Villagers had to step on ladders to hang them up. Tourists like to go to the mill and buy this intangible cultural heritage specialty.
Zhongjiang County is known as "Chinese dry noodle village". Local authority develops agricultural industry while starting some tourism projects. A tourism site with dry noodles as its trump card, is also attractive for its good foods and guesthouse. The new industrial ecology system is built as restaurants with local characteristics, rural guesthouse, intangible cultural heritage museum and other infrastructure open to public. The new model "industry + tourism" is an engine for rural tourism and a bond for cultural industry and tourism industry.
