Beijing, September 18 (Youth.cn) - Villagers in Xiaohuang Dong Village celebrated song-passing festival in folk costume on September 16th. The village locates in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Prefecture in Guizhou Province. It was their 29th song-passing festival. They gathered at drum tower, sang and danced to celebrate the festival and passed a happy Mid-Autumn Festival as well. Since the village has been named "home for Dong songs" by cultural bureau of Guizhou Province in 1993, villagers celebrate song-passing festival on August 14th and 15th in lunar calendar every year.
