Beijing, August 28 (Youth.cn) - Workers were producing assembled trains in a workshop in Hefei, Anhui Province on August 28th. It is to assure timely delivery to Hefei subway.
Line 8 of Hefei subway is planed 22.5 kilometers for the first phrase of project, all route is underground. 12 stations was set to this line. All stations built, all rails paved, the assembled trains can be examined and adjusted by now. As the first unmanned subway line, the line 8 use 6-carriage B-type train. 19 trains with 114 carriages are enrolled. They can carry 2000 passengers with the maximum running speed of 100 kilometers per hour. It strengthens the transportation between North city and the main urban area, forming a fore-and-aft express subway way in the city, which facilitates citizens’ green trips. Photo/VCG
