China concludes selection for fourth batch of astronauts
Beijing, March 15 (Youth.cn) - China recruited fourth batch of reserve astronauts. 12 to 14 reserve astronauts will be trained to be spacecraft pilots, spaceflight engineers or payload specialists. It is the first time that China selected payload specialists from Hong Kong and Macao. The selection process started in 2022. The second-round of selection completed in August 2023. Totally over 20 candidates entered the final selection, including candidates from Hong Kong and Macao. Photo/VCG
