Beijing, October 16 (Youth.cn) - On October 14th, 2023, white shrimps were collected from a fish pond at the Zhenghua Aquatic Products Breeding Cooperative in Hami City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. 

Relying on the Nanhu Reservoir in Yizhou District, Zhenghua Aquatic Products Breeding Cooperative in Hami City has been carrying out aquaculture in the Gobi. According to Ma Peihua, the head of the cooperative, the production of fish, shrimp, and crabs is expected to reach over 100 tons this year, among which the South American white shrimp and crabs are favored by customers.
