Beijing, July 18 (Youth.cn) - On July 17th, 2023, the National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reached 59.3034 trillion yuan in the first half of 2023, with a year-on-year growth of 5.5% at constant prices. Among them, the GDP in the second quarter increased by 6.3% year on year. In the first half of the year, faced with a complex and challenging international environment and the arduous task of domestic reform, development and stability, various regions and departments made outstanding efforts to ensure stable growth, employment and prices. As a result, market demand gradually recovered, and production supply continued to increase, leading to an overall improvement in the economic performance.
