China released preliminary plan for manned lunar landing, aiming to achieve it by 2030

Beijing, July 14 (Youth.cn) -On July 12th, 2023, at the 9th China (International) Commercial Aerospace Forum in Wuhan, Zhang Hailian, Deputy Chief Designer of China Manned Space Engineering Office, announced that China plans to achieve manned lunar landing and conduct scientific exploration by 2030. Following that, China aims to explore the construction of a lunar research base, conduct systematic and continuous lunar exploration, and carry out related technological experiments and verification.
