Beijing, June 1 (Youth.cn) -On June 1st, 2023, citizens of Shenyang were enjoying themselves at Xingminyuan pocket park under the Shenhai Overpass. Recently, Xingminyuan pocket park officially opened to the public for free in Shenyang.

In recent years, Shenyang has been transforming enclosed green spaces and idle land on the streets, corners, and centers of the city into green areas, enhancing them with facilities for transportation, leisure, lighting, and services. This initiative aims to provide convenient access to pocket parks right at the doorstep of the residents. Currently, the coverage rate of park activity areas in Shenyang has reached 85.2%, increasing by 4.8% points compared to 2021.
