Beijing, May 29 (Youth.cn) -On May 26th, 2023, in Beijing, the Taihu Jazz Music Festival was held at the Taihu outdoor theater of the National Centre for the Performing Arts. That evening, the CMA all-star jazz band presented jazz adaptations of several classic Chinese folk songs in the concert titled "When Folk Songs Meet Jazz." The Taihu Jazz Music Festival, which runs until May 31st, features 12 renowned jazz bands and over a hundred domestic and international musicians taking turns on stage, playing works that represent the diverse styles of jazz from different countries. Through the universal language of music, the festival fosters cultural dialogue.
