Beijing, May 29 (Youth.cn) - During the press conference for the Shenzhou-16 manned spaceflight mission held on May 29th, 2023, Lin Xiqiang, deputy director of the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA) and spokesperson for the project, announced that according to the decision of the headquarters, the launch of the Shenzhou-16 manned spacecraft is scheduled for May 30th at 9:31 a.m. Beijing time. The flight crew includes astronauts Jing Haipeng, Zhu Yangzhu, and Gui Haichao, with Jing Haipeng serving as the mission commander. Jing Haipeng has previously participated in the manned spaceflight missions of Shenzhou 7, 9, and 11, while Zhu Yangzhu and Gui Haichao will be flying for the first time.
