【#Tech24H】At 7:35 AM Beijing time on August 19, 2026, the Zhuque-3 reusable launch vehicle, Y2 Rocket, lifted off from the Dongfeng Commercial Space Innovation Pilot Zone. Approximately 137 seconds after liftoff, the rocket's first and second stages separated; the second stage continued its flight and accurately delivered the Honghu-03 satellite, independently developed by Hongqing Technology, into its planned orbit. At around 7:41 AM, the first stage successfully performed a soft landing as scheduled at the Zhuque-3 landing site in Minqin County, Gansu Province, marking a complete success for the flight test. This represents another major breakthrough in China's key reusable rocket technologies, making the Zhuque-3 the country's first launch vehicle to successfully enter orbit and achieve a ground-based recovery.[ By Zhang Liyan | Tang Ruohan ]
