【#Tech24H】On August 17, Alibaba announced via its official WeChat account that its AI music model, HappyShrimp 1.0, has officially launched. HappyShrimp can accurately understand natural language and turn an emotion, a story, or a memory into a complete piece of music. It achieves end-to-end full-song generation, treating music as a special language with its own grammar, semantics, and context. For user inputs such as text descriptions, lyrics, musical style, mood, era, and vocal requirements, the model does not process each element separately and stitch them together; instead, it plans holistically, synchronously creates, takes long-range structure into account, and produces a fully integrated song. In addition, addressing common pain points like robotic AI vocals, misaligned lyrics and melody, and noisy audio, HappyShrimp has made breakthroughs in sound detail and musicality.
