【#Tech24H】On July 8, the 2026 (25th) China Internet Conference opened in Beijing and will run through July 10. This year’s conference focuses on the underlying transformation of AI, directly addressing industry pain points such as computing power fragmentation, token commercialization, and multi-agent collaboration, while offering localized solutions. Telecom operators at the event proposed a shift from “traffic management” to “Token management”. China Telecom, China Mobile, and China Unicom jointly called for deeper synergies among computing-power to electricity, computing to networking, and data to computing integration to resolve challenges in computing energy consumption and data circulation. Experts in attendance agreed that the value of the internet is undergoing an iterative upgrade, having once connected people with information, it now orchestrates the all-domain synergy of computing power, models, and intelligent agents. Only by unblocking the entire industrial chain, from optoelectronics and computing power to data, and relying on three pathways: independent foundational platforms, deep vertical application, and green computing power, can we sustainably unleash digital-intelligent new quality productive forces and solidify the foundations of the Digital China Initiative.
