【#Tech24H】Google has officially launched a new laptop category — the Googlebook. Positioned as its first laptop natively designed from the ground up for the Gemini AI assistant, the first models will hit the market this fall. The Googlebook not only retains Chromebook’s ability to run Android apps but also deeply integrates Geminidriven AI features, seen by the industry as an innovative fusion of the Chromebook and Microsoft's Copilot+ PC concept. It is reported that the Googlebook will run a “modern operating system designed for intelligence”, achieving seamless integration with the Android app ecosystem. Users can run Android apps directly on the laptop and also cast mobile apps in real time for use on the laptop without repeated downloads. With the “Quick Access” feature, users can browse and search files on their mobile phones directly from the laptop. [ By Zhang Liyan | Tang Ruohan ]
